تهیه و اجرای مشارکتمدارانه برنامه آمایش سرزمین در حوزه آبخیز حبل هرود

The management of a watershed is a complex process consisting of various components, without considering each of them, one cannot hope for the sustainability of the watershed. This systemic view of the area is the approach taken by the "Sustainable Water and Soil Resources Management Plan of HablehRood" - a joint plan between the United Nations Development Program and the Country's Forests, Ranges and Watershed Organization in its second implementation phase. HablehRood watershed with an area of about 1.2 million hectares is located between the two central provinces of Iran, Tehran and Semnan. This area, which well represents the diverse and complex conditions and even the difficult and fragile climate of Iran, has been chosen as the pilot project of "Sustainable management of water and soil resources of HablehRood". This plan has put the preparation and implementation of the land preparation plan and integrated watershed management plan in the second phase of its implementation. According to the participatory approach of this project, taking into account the points of view of all those involved in the management and operation of the basin, the plan for the improvement of the land of the HablehRood watershed was prepared and approved in 2011 with the participation of the aforementioned stakeholders, and its implementation phase began in 2012,  and now it is in the implementation phase in different parts of the area.
