The Journal of Extension and Development of Watershed Management, published by the Watershed Management Society of IRAN, has been issued on a quarterly basis since 2013. The journal aims to disseminate scientific, research, and applied achievements in the fields of watershed management and natural resource management, while providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge and scientific findings among researchers, academics, experts, and practitioners.

The journal publishes scientific papers covering a wide range of topics related to watershed management, including watershed planning and management, soil and water conservation, flood and drought management, applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) in watershed studies, socio-economic and cultural aspects of watershed management, climatology, geomorphology, and environmental hazards.
